Our story

A studio built on reuse

Built around thoughtful remodelling, clear communication, and realistic project planning.

Tailor's Touch was founded in 2016 to give garments more time in use. The studio grew from a simple idea: clothing can often be repaired, reshaped, or repurposed before it is set aside.

Every project begins with an assessment of the garment, its fabric, and the requested change. That helps us define what is possible, what may need extra material, and how the final result should be approached.

We also provide a written alteration scope for projects that need clear agreement before work begins, along with care and pressing notes where relevant.

What we value

Values that guide our work

Our approach combines craftsmanship with a realistic view of what each garment can become.

01

Careful assessment

We review the garment before confirming scope or pricing, because fabric condition, construction, and fit requirements shape what can be done. That keeps each project grounded in the actual piece, not a guess.

02

Clear process

From redesign consultation to collection, we keep the process clear and orderly. Design approval comes before remodelling work, so the finished piece follows the agreed direction.

03

Thoughtful reuse

We look for ways to reuse usable fabric, preserve strong sections, and reduce waste where possible. That makes remodelling a practical choice for clothing with lasting value.

04

Honest planning

Some garments need extra materials, and matching items cannot always be guaranteed until availability is checked. We discuss those details upfront so expectations stay realistic.
